Oats, eggs and nuts cover most of your macro- and micronutrient needs. Throw in a couple of veggies and some fish occasionally. You don't need any other food and it certainly won't get cheaper than that

Beans, lentils, oats, veggies, nuts. Super cheap and can last you weeks. Meat is expensive and you dont need it anyways.
