Without the token, only people actually using chainpoint would be running nodes.

This is win-win-win all around.

Even if you view ICOs as glorified crowdfunding, there is nothing wrong with that at all when the tech and company behind it is solid and the tokens viable in the marketplace.

Like you said, they've been developing without tokens all this time, so this ICO should be a no-brainer compared to all the shitcoins that get pumped into the stratosphere without even a trace of utility.
