i finally decided to cut my losses and sell tonight, its simply not worth the risk when i've been burned listening to /biz/ so many times in the past. worst case zrx does suddenly decide to pump, and i can just reinvest in another coin and make my money back. big whoop

Stox was obviously a meme coin shilled for literally a single event, and it'll never be used properly again. This coin has a practical purpose and is already the foundation of three new exchanges. Exchanges are implementing backend conversions of ETH to ZRX to pay TX fees. People will use it even if they don't do so knowingly. Ethfinex, radar relay, 0cean are just 3 and they're all going to be better than fucking etherdelta. What are people going to do? Use bittrex which hasn't added a coin in months?

Decentralized exchanges will win out, and when they do so 0x will be along for the ride as the foundational force behind it.

And then guess what happened, people didn't switch over to it.
What makes you so sure the same thing isn't going to happen with this and exchanges? Lots of people have recently gotten a taste of a decentralized exchange with etherdelta and reception was not very good.
The analogy here is that like how people aren't switching from Bitcoin to DGB anytime soon despite the advantages, people won't be switching from established centralized exchanges to 0x exchanges anytime soon.

So far the price post pump is reflecting that. Unless you have a real compelling reason that this could possibly even begin to put a dent in bittrex market share in upcoming weeks. And yeah I do think people will continue to use bittrex despite not adding coins recently. It's just too entrenched. I'll believe centralized exchanges can be dethroned when I see bitcoin dethroned.

Decentralised exchanges based on 0x taking over is literally the best case scenario. That doesn't need to happen for ZRX to moon though, they just need to be used.

Etherdelta is still being used despite how shitty they are, so if any of the three upcoming exchanges are better it should increase the value of ZRX.

Bitfinex is one of the largest exchanges is creating their decentralised based on 0x. They see the writing on wall.
