How do I invest in stocks online?
Can I just go to some website and buy stocks like I buy Bitcoin on coinbase? I would rather not have to pay some broker a % of my gains just to read charts for me

There is no online Stockmarket. it's all on Wall Street and you need to call a broker.

Any major American broker (I use Schwab but there are many) will let you buy and sell for about $10 a trade, and all their analysis and recommendations are free.
