Should I throw $2000 at this?
People are bitching because the ICO requires you to submit a selfie with passport and that they release 1 gazillion of their 10 gorillion total supply.
But on the other hand, it is a widely used messenger service (at least in the US? not so popular here in the EU) and I reckon that successfully implementing a micro payment system could turn it into a WeChat clone.
Thoughts?

those were my words though, from the top of my head I do not remember what they actually say in their papers/faqs, but THE use-case is definitely payment over kik.
