There was some sort of error, and about $2,000 of some stranger's money was deposited into my account. It happened August 18th. I noticed, and immediately reported it, on August 25th. They said it would take three to five days to sort out.
A.) What are the odds they will fail to fix it, and I'll get to keep the money?
B.) Why can't they fix it immediately?

A) 0%
B) They are jews

>immediately reported it
dude...

I keep track of every dollar. I wanted to know where this sudden deposit came from. Now that I know it's some error, I'm probably damned if I spend it, not that I've consulted a lawyer or anything.

You're supposed to leave it in there for 90 days and then if it's still around consider it yours.
>>3235675
That's good news. Can you tell me how you know this?
>>3235687
i've been "gifted" before. I've had it goes away. Sometimes it doesn't. After 30 days it's likely lost in the system. After 90 you're fucking good for sure.

But never fucking report it. Guarantee it'll be gone whether it gets figured out or not.

80% of people I've asked, and articles I read just a few minutes ago, discourage me from doing it. My friend is a financial advisor and he said it's illegal. Someone working at the bank told me taking advantage of errors will go on my report.
An article I read said that I have 30 to 60 days to sort out errors that are in the bank's favor, but that the bank can reclaim the money any time they want.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you've said here.
