Shit comparison. No one knew that Bitcoin would become this big and by the time ppl realize this and came out with their own coins, BTC already had most of the miners. Litecoin didn't come out until nearly two years later after BTC. People KNOW Blocknet's dex will be big. If the code is in the open, then another competitor with a lot of capital can get their shit up and running quick using Blocknet's blueprints before Blocknet can fully dominate the market.

Theoretically any open source project could get picked up and ripped off.

But the market would know that you have a choice between:

A) The original developers of the code who have conceived the idea, problem solved their way through its entire development, and now are at the final stages of completion.

B) Some knock off.
