No, it remains valid and you can use it many times.

The reason wallets give you a new address each time is for privacy. As everyone can see all the transactions/amounts that have been sent to that address.

Most good wallets give you a "wallet recovery seed" which is twelve or so random words. As long as you have that, all addresses generated from that seed remain accessible to you.

(Addresses always remain valid for all time, but you need the seed/key to spend from it)
