as a summary, you will have a campaign mode where you will have to re-build your civilization that was recently attacked by an unknown enemy. There will be many realms that you can only access through a portal.
You will be able to upgrade your army and other items and units by playing missions or by attacking other players civilizations.

All items and currencies will be on the blockchain. The game currency will be our e11 token that is common for all our experiments.

Yes, all transactions pay gas, in future version of ethereum the contract itself (us) can pay for gas, in some cases.
But the main idea is that every transaction is worth it, you should be able to make more than what you pay for gas by, say, attacking someone else.
