Hey /biz/ I recently got about 5 grand as a gift and I decided that I wanted to invest in crypto since I've been lurking for a while.
I've done research for a couple of weeks now and I think I know what I wanna get into (what to buy/hodl/etc). The problem is, I made accounts with both Coinbase and Kraken (since those were suggested) to start buying crypto for USD and they both require a Drivers License or ID in order for me to deposit.
This wouldn't be a problem, except I am and will be away from the US for the next 4 months or so and I don't have a current Drivers License (expired) and they won't take my US Passport as an ID. Is there a workaround I'm not aware of? or any other sites that don't need ridiculous Identity verification to buy a couple of thousand worth of Coins? thanks in advance.
