Because fiat is the baseline you blithering moron. Any crypto that can be traded in fiat would do so in a heart beat. Ether and Litecoin run on the fiat baseline because thats the primary currency they are traded in. So they can rise and fall independently of bitcoin. If bitcoin went to 0 tomorrow so would every coin traded in them. And dont think tether is safe either because its explicitly stated on their website they have no legal obligation to honor their tethers. When people say any one of those three are mooning, they are not talking about ETH-LTE/BTC. An ETH/BTC chart only adds noise created by the fluctuation in bitcoin.
