It's been nearly 10 years since the last recession. inevitably there will be one around the corner silver and gold usually spike on the way up to and during a recession how doe's biz think crypto will fair during this time especially bitcoin.
will it prove to be the gold of the internet as people lose faith in their fiat currencies? or will it all go to shit? is'nt the reason for btc based around the last financial crash?

bitcoin was created as a direct result of the 2008 economic shitfest. So yes, I think crypto will do very well during a recession. However, this next recession is gonna be worse than 2008, because the problems that caused the recession didn't go away. The banks got bailed out and debt continued to go up. For some reason the FED continues to think that printing money to pay their debts is somehow going to work (its not.) Basically, when the next bubble pops, we are all fucked. People will make a run on the banks, banks won't have enough money for everyone, the stock market tanks, and the economy explodes. In essence we're fucked.
