yes, litecoin IN THE PAST has proven to have a shitty value-retention since it has gone from $4 to $34 and then back down to $4 in prior years.

Do not use CB. Currently I got 0.06% buy, 0.16% feed on e.g. kraken after trading for a while. Other exchanges also reduce fees when you shift money back and forth.
