Anon, I think you should look into Funfair, its built by a gaming and gambling industry legend (Jez San, helped make starfox for the SNES and operated PKR.com)

Funfair uses state channel-based RNG, which, to the end-user, results in faster and cheaper gambling, because there are less transactions involved, one to open the channel (think a session of play), and one to close it.

idk, I work for an online gambling company but it's entirely done in fiat.
Doing it with crypto sounds like something that won't catch on in the mainstream for a while, and even then this is a specific platform currency, useless elsewhere and would require a tax to convert to bitcoin/fiat.

but anon, funfair IS providing that very mechanism for gambling with FUN in the background using Fiat. Funfair is targetting the mainstream operators who already deal with fiat, and offering them a platform that's cheaper and faster (no servers for them to run, only smart contracts in the blockchain)

highly suggest you check their whitepaper out, because they are tackling a lot of problems facing online gambling today (transparency and instant payouts).

Another thing to consider is that funfair isnt positioning itself as a casino operator, unlike etheroll and edgless who are trying to open their own casino. This means that its much more regulation friendly, as FUN is more like a development platform for casino operators to license and use.
