I'd say at least $1. If i had a bank, i would definitely use this instead of SWIFT. Saves a shit ton of money and is a lot faster. The big issue is is obviously getting the big banks onboard. I worked at a fortune 20 company, and getting anything substantial done takes fucking forever, and they're secretive as fuck about it too. Time and again, changing any process is like turning a battleship. But once it's done, expect the full power to steam ahead.
Ripple is a game changer in the long run though. Glad i got my at $0.17.

I think the countdown is for a conference held by Ripple, where there will be some big announcements. But I could be wrong.

It went up to 0.19 earlier this months then dropped back to 0.14...I bet it will loose 25% again by tomorrow evening.
