We all know where the value is now. The valuation of XRP vs USD is almost the same right now as it was at its moon phase in MAY.

margin works - but timing is critical. I was up 22 BTC on multiple margin plays in a row, then held overnight in risky BTC/ETH trading pair LONG.

The parity hack happened. I was 1 percent above margin call afterwards, but held. I was right, and it recovered, but what I didn't realize is BTC was starting to moon, devalueing the ETH/BTC trading pair, and I lost everything. All those gains. And actually ended up negative by about 300 eth.

It eventually corrected and I would've been fine. I wasn't wrong, my timing was just off.

what pisses me off on polo is there's no way to protect your short/long margin plays. If you try to hedge with stop loss orders it simply says 'not enough collateral in your account' so you essentially can't go full margin and protect your plays. Fucking stupid as hell.

i use a bot that i made myself for a trailing ATR stop loss. only problem is so far there are a few bugs, if internet goes down and comes back up you have to open/close the program. it isnt exactly a great user experience but it works great for me since i made it.

pic related. price info on the auto sell window is bugged but doesnt matter since its only for show. i set the price based on the ATR stop and the limit percentedge is how much the price will be either above or below the highest bid. the stop loss is triggered if the highest bid goes below it. there are some weird labeling, but again, since i made it i have no trouble with it
