I often see someone buy a tiny amount for a massive price. Its clearly done on purpose. No idea what this achieves.

When it's only on delta then it dictates the price shown on coinmarketcap.

They can move it top 30 or more by buying it at an absurd price and it increases it's visibility for a while.

It's only possible on etherdelta where you can execute a specific trade well outside normal market price and there are no stoplosses there.

Coinmarketcap.com actually just added a feature to detect outliers and not bump the coin up if it is way outside the latest prices, so Idk why people keep doing it

Etherdelta isnt an exchange, it's a market place. You have to manually fill orders yourself as if you were doing a 1 on 1 trade in person.
