2500 BLOCK bought November 2014. Think it cost me 180€. Now worth around 30,000 €.
Not amazing compared to some recent short-term flips, but since i forgot i had them it was a nice surprise.

Went all in from fiat to btc last autumn before halvening at 577€/btc
How do you guys find out about these coins that early to make such massive gains?

At a minimum understand when a coin has found support and is in accumulation phase. Monero prior to the recent pump is a good example. Strong fundamentals and low relative price that is moving sideways for a long time.
If you prefer pure fundamentals then just research ICOs and throw some eth at a few you like. Look for unique concepts, strong teams and an actual practical purpose for the token.

I understand what to look for in a coin, I mean how do you find them in the first place?
If go on coinmarketcap right now and look at low market cap coins there are hundreds. How to avoid having to research every coin on there when most are clearly nothing special at best. Basically I'm asking is there anyway to filter through the "noise" or is it really a matter of spends hours researching every new and old coin?
Thanks regardless

The top few coins in volume are usually ones that you want to take a look at
