EVEN WHEN EVERYTHING ELSE IS UP 1000% YOU'RE ONLY SUPPOSED TO MAKE SMALL GAINS OF 1%.

Honestly, though, anyone know why this stable, elderly coin has suddenly shot up 50%? Isn't zk-SNARKS going to make Monero redundant when metropolis is released?

No, it's all worse than Monero.

As to why it jumped so high, probably someone acquired a large amount for laundering or paying ransom and triggered FOMO.
Also, bithumb listing.
