BCH and BTC are in direct competition and currently you need to buy BTC in order to buy BCH unless you buy on certain exchanges with fiat. This inflates the price of Bitcoin as people scramble to buy BCH pumps when it should be decreasing, because it is arbitrarily linked to its competition. It's like only being able to buy things at Zellers with Walmart gift cards.
If this is going to change, we need to start demanding BCH indexing on exchanges so less demand for BTC is accurately reflected in its price rather than being artificially inflated by the demand for BCH.
Tell Bittrex to add BCH indexing so you can trade and cut out the middle man. With enough demand, they will. Then the real games begin.
