hey guys, im new to crypto. i'm confused about all these different exchanges
so if i trade on poloniex for example, my transaction will not show up on any other exchanges?
in theory the same security on one exchange could have a completely different price action than the same security on another exchange??
has that ever happened before?

Prices are slightly different but vary together because some people and bots profit from arbitrage. Arbitrage levels off prices across exchange. Isn't the free market wonderful?
