BTC chain is now 150GB ETH 100GB
> bitinfocharts com
It will not break anytime soon, but it clearly cannot keep rising forever
Also this is the case for ALL cryptos, since the blockchain is the spine of them. Even IOTAs tangle will keep growing

thanks for reminding me to add WDC to my portfolio

No it fucking isn't. Prune your data. It's 12 gb or so and listen to Vitaliks latest lecture where he explains how to solve it with sharding
>>3117363
sorry, bitinfocharts is wrong then. will watch vitaliks talk, do you have a link?
>>3117619
Cants remember the talk but basically it's Harding with no trust algo on top.
Sharding is like parallel processing where things are run on different nodes then rejoined, some with storage. This reduces security as only a smaller fraction of a node needs to be compromised but the no trust algo fixes that by some black magic I don't understand

Found it. Sharding not Harding

it doesnt its a soft patch, however the fix to this will come, something big will realease soon many of the problems crypto has, both in the blockchain and investments and the best part is , its ico date hasnt been release yet and only a handful of people know the exact date and I am one of the few
