RIETs/IPPs/MLPs/BDCs/mRIETs are also all good income producing assets but are generally more sensitive to interest rates. You would've done really well since the recession with the near zero fed funds rate on these asset classes. I would only hold these in a Roth IRA since you cannot get dividend tax on them.

And with a Roth, you can start withdrawing the dividends as "principal" and never get taxed on it (unless your dividends end up being more than you put in. But you're smart and max you're Roth IRA anyway)
