Honestly it might be this. Bitcoin will remain king for a long while, but in such an early space for a new currency concept it's not unthinkable that something better could one day come

There already are new and better projects, litecoin is literally BTC but supposedly better, and it's eons away from dethroning BTC

It appears first mover advantage in this market is king. No one will ever dethrone BTC as a form of payment in the cryptospace
