I specifically invest in coins I don't mind getting stuck with. XEL is one of them. It is going places. It is the one coin that killed GNT. I am currently holding about 70% of my portfolio in it and won't sell until it hits 25k sats.
It is currently down, but so are my other coins. This is due to BTC being bullish. Once the price climb slows the prices will rebound massively. I expect XEL to be among the first few that do.
Word of advise, if you sell now, you will end up solidifying your losses. The market can pivot at any moment.
