The Bitcoin/Bitcoin Cash split happened, and things were fine, but there seems to be a ton of debate on the Bitcoin system, I'm worried this will fuck it all up, am I a tard?
I'm hearing that there is a debate between Segwit1 and Segwit2x, and that this could cause a potential split, or at least some rough areas in BTCs future.
About Segwit2x, which will be activated in 6 days, there is debate on whether this will actually help the transaction time and fees for BTC itself. There are two main groups that seem to be saying the exact opposite opinion on this matter.
One thing that SegWit does seem to do no matter what, however, is help patch up holes that would keep the Lightening patch from going through. This is what really worries me.
From what I hear about Lightening is that although it will lower fees and make transaction times very low, it increasingly centralizes the network to a point where one can only use the BTC lightening through large exchanges. From what I know about Bitcoin, this seems to be the exact opposite of what it was created for!
Is this what the Bitcoin Cash fags were talking about? Because everybody seems to have ideas about "fixing" or "upgrading" Bitcoin. Well I say go make your own damn shitcoin.
Pic slightly related.
Invest everything into BCC. The gains will be obscene and you can laugh at those who fell for the segwit centralization scheme.
