Hello. I am trying to learn more about Cryptocurrencies and wonder where you all learn about the basics.
Also, what exchanges are there, research sites, etc.. I have only read pop articles about them and some threads here (which are either shallow or over my head).
I have a good analytic background (Econ, stats, etc.), and I am not looking to make a quick buck. I am trying to find out if investing in them is a good idea without listening to people who only talk about speculation (Mike Cernovich for instance).
Thank you.

There is a good resource there? I hate using reddit.

Cryptocurrency is almost entirely speculative. This is a bubble. The markets behave as such. It's purely marketing, niche platforms (intended to influence markets, nobdy actually uses them), and ICOs held together by speculation.

Do you prefer virgin Han princesses?

Yes, the speculative nature is what has turned me off until now. It seems that enough people use the currencies that some logic should be there now.
