How the fuck do I use it? Can I not send ETH from an exchange? I've never had a hardware wallet and I don't know what metamask or parity or any of this stuff is because I have a POS chromebook and the extensions don't work on it.

i don't understand whats so complex about this shit. u get your eth address in edelta and send eth to this address from wherever you wish. and then u start trading.
try to remember it's not a real exchange -- it's an interface built around a smart contract for trading tokens.
EtherDelta will recognize your wallet if you use Metamask (which I recommend) -- you then need to send EtherDelta your coins (deposit area in upper left), and finally, you can post your coins to sell or use your balance to buy.

From what I can tell, it's literally the only exchange that isn't a scam. You hold your private keys and you are able to trade with others. It's that simple.
If the UI didn't suck so much, I'd say it's what every crypto exchange SHOULD have been like.
once you figure out how to use it, it's not hard.
you just need to be patient and be careful where you click.

This. Use metamask. Find the basic guide on imgur. Remember to set gas low.

Or just give this anon your private key an he will set up a etherdelta account for you
guys so I sent ETH from my exchange to my etherdelta wallet. Then I clicked on a sell order for ZRX. The transaction is now pending. Is this normal? I keep hearing all this talk about needing to select the right amount of gas. It didn't even ask me how much I wanted to use.
