So I bought some shitple earlier when it was really cheap and it's gone up like 5-6% since then but I'm uncomfortable holding it because it's a shitcoin and I know it's gonna go down again. Should I sell now and buy NEO or would it be better to hold for a bit longer?

I gave up on ripple. You can't get money with it. It will go down a bit, than come back up, but you're not making money on it.
Just buy something more bullish that can get you some profit, like NEO or GAS
