I'm making a web app, and I'm wondering how its possible to integrate bitcoin and ether into it, like have people send each other BTC or ETC and have communications through that. I dont want to use fagbase or stripe, like there is no fiat involved

Lookup JSON RPC on the Bitcoin Wiki for Bitcoin. Not sure about Ethereum because I think it's a meme coin and will die.

You could also use coinpayments for an API but they can shut you down. No one will shut down your bitcoin full node
