I'm a 19 y/o looking to get started on investing, build up some savings for when I graduate uni and move out. I've been lurking /biz/ for a few weeks and it looks like you guys are mostly about coin trading. No idea how that works, and I've been having trouble finding literature on it. Is there a go to thread or article for beginners I could hit up?

Yeah there should be a sticky.
TL;DR; Make an account on bitstamp, verify it, setup 2FA click on instant buy bitcoins.
Then install Electrum, click on the recieve tab and then there will be an adress. Send your coins from bitstamp there and then save the electrum wallet file on an usb stick (FILE->SAVE)
