The perfect storm of horrible timing, poor trading, no strategy, poor risk management, PnD scams, and weak hands.
Timing - Entered the market during the Segwit drama.
Poor Trading - Lost $10k on NMR & VIA alone
No strategy - Traded without strategic portfolio allocation
Poor risk management - All in on every trade
PnD scams - Got involved in PnDs (some were profitable one yielded 1.4 BTC profits in 20 seconds).
Weak hands - Nearly every coin I once held is up at-least 20% right now.
