So is everyone else. This is why your average joe lacks ambition and has nothing to look forward to other than working for the next 40-50 years and going to the beach once a year if they're lucky.

I am kinda scared that I could become just that, I want to succeed so bad. I like my dad a lot and by all measures he has a good life but it is too average for me personally.

He always thinks that it's impossible to reach for higher things in life. No matter if it's getting rich, having political change or whatever. I got a lot of good lessons from him but honestly I am just different I dont want average and I am willing to take risks and invest time to be better than average. Maybe I will fail, maybe it really cant be done but god damn I will try. I still have this naive worldview that I can do anything I set my mind to and I hope I never lose it.
