Is TA a meme or does it actually predict the future?

Can we talk about something that isn't crypto for a moment guys? Not even a thread?

Its a meme but it works because everyone else is meming it. If everyone thinks that a pattern will form where the price will go up then the price goes up because people plan around that event happening, then if the pattern claims a price drop then people set sell orders accordingly and fulfil the pattern.
If only like 10% of people did TA then it wouldn't work
