There is a science behind it... it's been studied that losing money has a greater psychological impact than winning.

Lets say marg and both tom have 1500. marg earns 500 dollars, but loses 200. tom just earns 200 dollars. even though marg gained more net profit than tom, because marg lost those 200 dollars, she might be less satisfied than tom, resulting in a "loss aversion"

Most memorable trade I've ever done was buying a coin called BULLSHIT COIN on CoinExchange.io for 1 sat and selling it for 50 sats.Usually don't buy less than 0.1btc worth of shitcoins at a time but had 0.001 btc spare and something about the name attracted me:-) Only bought 0.001 btc worth but i'm still smiling about that one.
