Anyone know what's up with this coin? The devs have been dead silent, there's barely a sound from the community, no updates.
Are they simply waiting for Ethereum upgrades due to the lack of scalibilty of Ethereum? Anyone got any reasons to buy/sell this coin?

The devs are working their asses off to get it released. The slack is open and active as well.
They're currently working on migrating the code from Serpent to Solidity since the audit they paid for of the Serpent compiler came back pretty negatively. You can see their daily progress for yourself: https://github.com/AugurProject/augur-core
They have a new app UX and design coming soon they made in collaboration with IDEO.
It's amazing how much this token flies under the radar when it's actually one of only a few legitimate projects.
