Hey guys. From Ontario here. What can I say, I don't know much about numbers and the taxman. All I know is I dont want to get screwed this tax season or the next season.
1) I had a fulltime job last week. It was my last week as a fulltimer. I have had that job for 10 years. It is now going to be a part time job. Maybe 20-40 hours a month. I remember filling a TD1 form there TEN YEARS AGO.
2) I got hired as a fulltimer at a new job. I start tomorrow (yay). So i got a TD1 form to fill out. On page 2 it says if you have more than one employer sign here and write zero on line 13 whoch is the claim amount....but if I write zero they will never tax me and I will owe them alot...my older part time gig will not tax me enough to make up for the new fulltime job. Really I feel like I should be getting taxed at both jobs...it doesn't make any sense to me...Wtf do I do1?!?@

Legally, you have to fill out your provincial and federal tax forms for each job, every year.
If you don't voluntarily take off taxes from both your jobs, yes, you are going to get a huge tax bill next spring. Even if it's only $100 per pay cheque, it's money you won't have to pay later.

Well thats news to me...listen they gave me one form. Its two pages.
If you open the first .pdf this is the exact form i have to fill out. I dont know what to do. I think I should make a new one for my part time job and say '0' and then for my new job I should just input everything normally.
