when do you decide to close a loosing trade ?
I think you should always close if it dips 15 to 25%
Never unless it is a complete shitcoin

When I see one red candle on a 1minute chart
Cost averaging + swing trading, maximize your upside, it's hard to lose if you're trading coins with long-term prospects. Buy small amounts if it's high and you think it's going to pump, but medium amounts in the middle, and buy a shit ton when it dips and is cheap. It's not hard to determine short-, medium-, and long-term trends, and cross-reference all of them and decide when and how much to buy.
>tfw 6 open >40% losses

What he said. Held everything since day 1, only shitcoin I liquidated was Kurrent as it was a dead shitcoin. Thankfully the market cap was so painfully low it was easy to dump the bags for practically break even.

I thought a good rule of thumb was when you're down 8%
