I'm not really sure how private keys work, how can you lose all of the money instantly if you show someone your private key? Do they import it into a wallet? how so?
help pls
Yes. They send funds from your private key to wherever they'd like. Its as if someone had a hold of your cc information, simply can do whatever they want with it.

theres only like 8 bitcoins on my wallet, what are you going to do?
Your private key is basically your signature.
"Give bob 20 bitcoins"
-OPs signature
through the mathemagics of cryptography your signature is checked as valid and your coins are agreed by everyone to be "spent"
