That's because it's a very elaborate ponzi scheme.

The distribution system is built to incentivize you buy Byteball. You get 1 GB for every 16 BTC you hold. So that's $550 or so if you hold $51,000. BUT if you hold 5 GB ($2,750 or so), you get one 1 GB.

You do the math and you figure that if you buy a shit ton of Byteballs with your $51,000, you'll get like $10,000 in free Byteball distributions.

The problem is that EVERY TIME THERE IS A DISTRIBUTION the price collapses because everyone is trying to sell (and you check the historical prices for this). In other words, if you're holding Byteball, you're the bagholder.

Any *sane* trader shouldn't touch this shit.

Their distirbution method, involved checking every bitcoin wallet at the specific moment X, and if the account has more than exact 0 coins, they will get EXACT Y claim coins.
