How do they still exist?

They barely do, last few in my area is closed as of recently.

Local electronic store, sold minimal computer stuff but had all sorts of small electrical components. They also sold GPS, radios n small TVs, RC cars, speakers, and other random bullshit. Seems like they got fucked when smartphones came out and have been going down since, oh and they try and shill batteries literately every time your in there.

some of the stores are profitable and owned by franchisors. The stores owned by corporate were not profitable, because the management of Radioshack was a bunch of jokers, and went bankrupt. This does not mean that every individual radioshack was unprofitable.
