redpill me on bitcoin lending
is this safe?
Yes, polo’s system ensures you’re guaranteed to get your BTC + interest back.
Actually it has insane returns compared to normal interest rates; that’s what you get for having to hold a volatile asset like BTC throughout it.

ps: Note that polo takes a 25% on that interest lol.

The point is that if BTC falls 2% during these two days (which is not entirely unlikely) you’ve gained basically "nothing"; or if some alt goes up 2% in the meantime -- same thing.
Of course you save yourself the trading hassle.
By the way research poloniexlendingbot, it's a python script you can keep running so that you don’t have to put up lending offers yourself. (It adjusts to current market rates automatically, unlike the polo feature to keep re-offering the loan.)
Very dangerous, its been hacked before and it will happen again. Stay away from this scam, people just more people to pile money in so they can margin trade for cheaper, do your research
already made 100 satoshis! wahoo!

yeah, I quickly found out snatching them 2%/day loan demands is basically impossible

the main issue is that you will not get 2%
2% is the default you choose when you margin, but it auto picks the cheapest % for you
so it'd be around 0.02% right now
couple days ago before the hardfork we got insane daily rates though, 2% up to fucking 15% a DAY
absolute retards margin longing then

It's 15%
