Do you ever study the charts and then decide not to make an unwise trade? This is profit too, but it is harder to see on your p&l. I prefer to look at price action in terms of probabilities. I make bets on high probability trades and steer clear of those trades I believe have a low probability of success. I don't always make a good call, but the chances of my being lucky with a bet that has an 80% chance of success are much higher than with a bet that has 20% chance of success.

NVDA is going to make or break me I think. I believe I will hold until earnings and pray to God I can sell on a good earnings. When this rocket runs out of fuel it is going to come plummeting back to earth.
