Is Bittrex a real company /biz/?

Their website have tons of pics of Seattle (and they also claim to be a Seattle based company in Linkedin), but "Bittrex LLC" seems to be located in Las Vegas.

Somehow they claim to be trading 50% of the current Bitcoin C(r)ash volume, this is 5 times more than Kraken...

Who the fuck they are?

No I keep telling you guys but nobody listens.

Bittrex is a shady as fuck company. Would not be at all surprised if they go down or are seized in the next few weeks.

Hah I have been playing with Bitcoin since 2010 faggot...

Almost 4 years old and has never been hacked, answers their fucking support tickets, owner's face is actually on twitter.

Meanwhile Polo HAS been hacked, never answers their support tickets, closes the trollbox, we don't know what the owner looks like, throws up walls of legal text, steals your BCC, what more is there to be said?
>>
>>2937874
So, if I want to visit Bittrex offices, where should I go?

fuck off poloniex damage control

nice way to slide my thread

6 block per hour is the bare minimum anon. Now fuck off
>>
>>2937832
Yeah they're very shady, not respectable like Poloniex.
>>
>>2937832
Yeah I don't think Polo would recover with all that "all exchanges are shady anyway" propaganda. Please spend your time on building a more respectable exchange.
>>
>>2937878

Where are the Kraken or Gemini offices? You won't find those publicly advertised anywhere either.
>>
>>2937832
>t. Poloniex shill
>>
they probably share an office space there to take advantage of the business laws in that state. By renting an office space and never using it, they are still considered residents of Nevada and can start a Limited Liability Company under Nevada's business laws. Yet they still live and have the actual infrastructure in Seattle. They're not scammers, they're smart businessmen.
>>
Bittrex LLC was created using a commercial registered agent whose location is in Vegas.

https://nvsos.gov/sosentitysearch/CorpDetails.aspx?lx8nvq=OsEEFOejJGrqwU1sWmGw4Q%253d%253d

They have their office in Seattle as you can see from the locations of the officers.

There is nothing suspicious about this, not sure why you guys are so worked up over this. They registered in Nevada because of no state corporate income tax.
>>
>>2937900
>Kraken Offices/Locations:
> 548 Market Street #39656
> San Francisco, California 94104-5401
> United States

That's literally downtown SF, check google next time you idiot.
>>
>>2937926
>They registered in Nevada because of no state corporate income tax.
lol? Washington doesn't have income tax either...
>>
>>2937935
>548 Market Street #39656

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=326276.0

"Their street address that they gave to FinCen is 548 Market Street #39656, San Francisco, CA, 94104.

That address is a mail drop, "Earth Class Mail". This is the same mail drop place that Tradehill used before they shut down."

No exchange is going to be foolish enough to give their actual office location so fuckers like you can come rob them at gunpoint to hand over everyone's private keys.
>>
>>2937952

Maybe the Nevada registered agent offered them a better deal. Anyways, it doesn't matter why they chose to register in Nevada, plenty of companies do the same thing. To answer your original question - yes, Bittrex is a real company.
>>
>>2937874

'member Cryptsy?
>>
>>2937868
lol i've been in bitcoin since 2001 kiddo get rekt
>>
>>2937832
>my shitty site didn't support BCC and I got scammed out of a lot of profit so I have to talk shit about a market that supported it where it went extremely well and fast
Pathetic.
>>
Only shady thing about bittrex is their spelling mistakes on the website
>>
I will lol so fucking hard when you faggots lose all your money
>>
they make .25% on every transaction.
i repeat, .25% on EVERY SINGLE TRANSACTION!
just look at BCC, they made tons of money.
they don't need to scam anyone.
>>
>>2938013

And? Cryptsy had offices and Vern was a public figure and he still ran.

The fact is NO exchange is 100% safe, not even your precious Kraken. BigVern fled because his pornstar wife was going to take his assets, you never know what could make the Kraken, Polo or Bittrex flee.

But the reality is Bittrex so far has proven themselves stable, honest and anyone who is going to talk shit about them NOW has an agenda. Start yacking when they start showing strange behavior like Polo has been doing lately or months before Cryptsy went down.

It's well known who they are, unlike some other exchanges like Poloniex where we're not even sure about the owner's real name.
