My plan is to buy 500 euros of bitcoin and 100 of Etherum of whatever the fuck its called and dont touch them for 5 years. Then sell them for euros.
BUT
I read several stories online about fraud commited by Coinbase and eToro. it is EXTREMELY easy for them to fuck you over...and if in 5 years my 500 euro will turn into thousands the chance is also higher of me getting an anal surprise

it doesn't fucking matter where you buy the coins just transfer them to a wallet where you control the private keys
then you and you alone maintain full control over the coins with no need for a trusted intermediary, almost as if that was the entire point of crypto to begin with
