yeah that's a concern, as well as air bnb guests perving on my gf. I'm home more often cause I mainly work from home but I'm not there all the time. It would probably be better to have a roommate I just don't like sharing all the fridge space etc.

Part of the reason I'm considering it is that rent is really high and keeps going up. For the cost of renting a decently nice apartment I think I could buy a condo. Downsides are debt, less mobility, and having pretty much my life savings tied up in a down payment, but at least I'll be building equity instead of pissing away money to my sand nigger landlord. Did I mention how much I hate my sand nigger landlord?

The key with air bnb is renting it to someone respectable that you're relatively sure won't do anything sketch.

Yeah I'll do more research about the Airbnb. I have a pretty large social circle so I could probably find a cool roommate. It's probably gonna be weird going back to living with a roommate after my gf and I having our own place for a while, but for ~$1300/mo it's totally worth it to me to cuck someone else into paying my mortgage.
