I sold my bitcoin cash on bittrex, it was a tiny amount. With Bitcoin Cash how can 7 billion dollars in value just poof into existence out of no where without a significant drop in price of Bitcoin? is this thing going to crash like crazy or what? I'm super confused right now.
Because that's how money works.
You think there's an actual standard for modern fiat? No. The government literally just fucking prints money and says what it's worth. Value is literally just something two people agree on. You can have a a bag full of dogshit and if people believe each turd is worth $100 a piece then that's what it's worth.

I believe he's wondering where the actual money came from. Like, did people just buy BCH with USDT?
It's not actually 7 billion dollars worth of value. What is the market depth right now? Probably a couple million, maybe $100 million at most. You also have to take into consideration how many bitcoins of those buy orders were mined or bought for very little years ago. It isn't surprising. The same is happening with ICOs by the way. People 10x or 100x their money with ETH over the years and are looking for the next 10x because people like new shit better than they like old shit. It's human nature.

people expecting a crash yesterday were idiots, the market will sort itself out once the value is properly identified

true the volume is very low, Still even with just 100 million in volume you would expect it to sell off.

if you were a holder of btc, how much bcc did you get when it forked? 1 bcc for every 1 btc?

People haven't been able to deposit BCC yet, once they will, and the volume comes rushing in, it will crash.
