Miners generally report their own hashrates but you can always see your "true" hashrate from the pool dashboard.

the spmod is closed source and I've only assumed it was safe due to me using it on an isolated miner without issues as well as checking with virustotal, which reports first scanned date (which matches up for both spmod2 and spmod3). I have NOT personally tried spmod3 but the virus scan and first analyzed date seems to match up.

I apologize again for what I thought happened, it was dumb of me not to check Suprnova. So the wierd thing is all day suprnova was still reporting me as 100MHS, but no coins were being mined. then I finally looked and saw the threads people were talking about suprnova discovering no blocks, and now suprnova's down.
