There is no logic that Bitcoin will randomly dump. Once the split is over with then the market sentiment will be high because the split is over with once and for all. BCC will have some value but it will not be enough to be a threat to BTC.

Just the fact that there are so many contradicting opinions out there indicates that fiat is the best option while waiting and watching for things to sort themselves out before buying back in.
