I have a gaming style pc and was a thinking of adding a couple 1080s to it. Is it possible to use one 1080 to mine and the other 1080 as part of my usual pc routine without any issues?
Or would I just need a dedicated machine?
What's your budget? You could add 2x 1080Ti for about $1500 assuming you've got a 1000 watt PSU. They won't ROI quickly (maybe ever), but they make good space heaters and will produce 400 SIGT a day @ current productivity rates, which is about 340,000 SAT equivalent.
You can do this you just need to select which card(s) are to be used by using flags when setting up the .bat file.
Fyi your energy bill is going to go up at least $75 a month if you do this

dont listen to this fag just mine zcash, or dual eth/decred

SIGT is currently most profitable to mine and dump. You'd be better off mining SIGT and dumping daily then buying ZEC.

what hashrate do you need for 400 sigt a day ?

100 MH/s, or about 2x 1080Ti.
Thank you biz bros

Money isn't too much of an issue for this setup, these will all be write offs anyway. I will look into sigt, thanks
220 days for 1080ti ROI
used to be 90 days
